JRC Employee Rules For Using Social Media

Folks,

There has been a lot of news lately resulting from various news organizations posting rules governing their employees’ use of social media.

Some of you have asked what are JRC’s Employee Rules For Using Social Media. To keep it simple I have reduced them to three:

1.

2.

3.

  1. Bold strategy! I applaud the lack of restrictions. Have you had to get involved at all with employees’ social media use? Has anything come up that you consider inappropriate, or do you (as a company and an individual boss) stay completely out of it?

  17. At least you could have said :
    1. Do it! Use Social Media
    2. Be yourself

And just leave the third one blank. But I guess the “No rules at all” includes all of the above ;).
